Job Description

Position Summary:

Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks. Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.  This position will cover multiple locations of Elder's Journey including:  Bloomington, Columbus, Terre Haute and Brazil.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in information systems coordination/technician
  • Knowledge of home health regulatory environment
  • Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Good organization, time management and prioritization
  • Efficient troubleshooting abilities
  • Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills

Duties:

  • Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
  • Implement security measures
  • Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements
  • Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
  • Install and update company software and hardware as needed
  • Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items
  • Maintaining working components through repair or replacement
  • Assisting call-ins or live chat with technical difficulties
  • Preparing website with proper coding and content pertinent to company business needs
  • Monitoring clicks, links, usability and overall status of the company webpage, landing pages and supporting pages
  • Assisting bloostaff with hardware and software challenges
